Hi there, I’m Lisa, aka the Restless Hobo, and you’re welcome to my little corner of the internet. This blog is an idea born out of a mixture of a mid-life crisis and the belief that it is never too late to become what we might have been.
As a little girl I loved to write, and dreamed of travelling (mostly to sunny places). Somewhere along the way though, I grew up and found myself conforming to what society had taught me I should aspire to be. I got a good job, I bought a car, and I bought a house, although not necessarily in that exact order…
Now, this not-so-little girl is having a mid-life crisis, and I’m wondering if there really is still time for me to become what I might have been. So I invite you all to come along with me on my adventure. First, join me in my transition where I continue to travel as much as possible while clearing myself of debt, leaving me free to find adventures with a clear head and an easy mind. Then, cheer me on as I pack up my heart and my dreams, and head off into the unknown.
